Use Case — Employee Onboarding

New hire. Day one. Zero manual steps.

The IT ticket, the Slack invite, the HRIS update, the manager introduction, the first-week calendar — 22 discrete steps that nobody owns until an agent does. Nexwatt's onboarding agent triggers the moment a new record appears in your HR system and handles every step that doesn't require human judgment.

From new HR record to fully provisioned, notified, and scheduled.

1
Trigger — new hire record in HR system

The agent monitors BambooHR, Workday, or Rippling for new employee records. When a record appears with a future start date, the agent schedules the onboarding run to begin 48 hours before day one.

2
Provision — create accounts across systems

Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, and any other tools the new hire needs. The agent applies role-based provisioning rules — a Sales hire gets CRM access, an engineer gets GitHub and CI/CD access — without anyone having to know which systems to provision.

3
Notify — alert the people who need to know

The new hire's manager gets a Slack message with their start date, direct reports get a channel announcement, IT gets a provisioning confirmation, and HR gets a checklist completion status.

4
Create — build the first-week task list

A Jira epic is created with the standard first-week tasks. Calendar blocks are created for manager intro, team welcome, and required training sessions. The new hire's calendar is populated before they arrive.

5
Escalate — flag provisioning failures immediately

If any provisioning step fails — API error, permission denied, missing field — the agent routes the failure to the IT queue immediately, not at end of day. The new hire's start isn't delayed by a ticket that sat unread.
